How Trimita Approaches Materials, Care & Slow Fashion
Trimita connects textile production and sourcing in Denizli, Türkiye, with European stock and fulfilment in Rotterdam. Our approach is to give clear product-specific information about materials, care and certification rather than treating one claim as if it applied to every item.
From Denizli to Rotterdam
Our textiles are sourced and produced through partners in Denizli, while DNZ Textiel B.V. handles European sales, importing, invoicing and warehouse operations in the Netherlands. This Denizli–Rotterdam connection is central to how Trimita operates.
Materials and product information
Our collections include cotton, wool, linen and blended textiles. Composition, construction and certification vary by product. Check the individual product page and label for the exact material, care instructions and any certification that applies to that item.
Working with producers and craftspeople
We work with producers and craftspeople in Türkiye for different product groups and production methods. Some products involve hand weaving or other craft processes, while others use different manufacturing techniques. We avoid presenting one production method or certification as applying to the entire collection.
Women are part of the Trimita story
Trimita is a woman-owned brand, and women craftspeople and business partners are part of its story. We value their knowledge and contribution while describing each product and production relationship as specifically as possible.
Buy less, choose well, care for what you use
A slower approach to textiles can start with practical choices: buy items that fit your needs, follow the care label, repair where practical and keep useful textiles in use for longer.
